Celebrate Recovery is a Christian-based recovery program that is based on the eight Principles of Recovery taken from Jesus’ eight Beatitudes and from the 12-Step Program. The program is geared to adults, 18 years old or older, and it is designed to work for any Hurt, Hang-up, or Habit. Some examples of these problem areas are: codependency, depression, divorce, emotional dependency, love & relational abuse, negative thought patterns, physical abuse, sexual abuse, sexual addiction, alcoholism, anger, and chemical addiction.

“We are committed to being a non-judgmental, confidential, safe-place. We exist to provide a ministry of support and healing for those in our church and community who are struggling with hurts, hang-ups, and/or habits, and who are ready to work their way through a process of recovery by placing their hope and trust in Jesus Christ as their Higher Power.”

Achieve freedom from life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups at Celebrate Recovery.  This ministry seeks to celebrate the HEALING and REDEMPTIVE power found in JESUS CHRIST. We invite you to join us and begin experiencing TRUE LIFE CHANGE.  Celebrate Recovery teaches us how to use God’s power and grace to solve life’s problems.  God can release us from the addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors that have been holding us back from AUTHENTIC JOY in our lives – come learn how! There is no wrong time to join Celebrate Recovery.  It is a permanent ministry at FUMC and meets 52 weeks a year (every Monday night).  No registration is needed.  Join us any time.
