Jody Wallin

Jody Wallin is originally from Gruver, TX and attended West Texas State University in Canyon, TX earning a Bachelor of Music Education degree with violin as his major instrument. Upon graduation, he was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army Reserve, and he is a Past Master of H.A. McFarland Masonic Lodge #1338 in Odessa.
 
Jody is married to Peggy Brown, an Optical Assistant. They have one daughter, Heather, and her husband Jason Wood, 5 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Jody played in the Midland Symphony Orchestra for 15+ years. He was a music teacher in the ECISD school system for 3 ½ years, an oilfield salesman for 25 years, and has been on staff at FUMC-Odessa for 21 years. He was Minister of Music his first 8 years with the church. Jody is now a Certified Lay Minister and serves as the Congregational Care Pastor leading the Stephen Ministry, and Celebrate Recovery programs among other duties the past 10 years. Jody continues playing his violin for many different events and ceremonies.
