FUMC Children's Center Welcomes You!
First United Methodist Church proudly opened the doors to our new Children's Center on September 20, 2010. We received our day-care licensing to expand from our 2-days a week Mother's Day Out program into our 5-day a week Children's Center. We offer day-care for children ranging in age from birth to 5 years of age. Children ages 2 to 5 years old attend chapel through the week.
A Day in the Classroom
All of our classrooms offer lesson planned days and we use resources from the Wee Learn Curriculum as well as Creative Curriculum.
Teachers @ FUMC Children's Center
Our teachers are CPR and First Aid certified, specializing in infants and preschool children. Our teachers receive 15 hours of training throughout the year specifically for the needs of the children. All teachers have background checks and have been fingerprinted for safety.

On October 6, 2010 we celebrated our Children's Center opening with the City of Odessa Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting ceremony. We'd like to thank everyone who has helped make this ministry possible at First United Methodist Church and in the City of Odessa!
