Praise Team
Through leading praise and worship music for the Contemporary service, the FUMC praise team strives to prepare the hearts and minds of the congregation to experience worship on Sunday morning. The praise team is composed of individuals who have been given the gift of music and who have a heart for God as true worshipers. Jesus said in John 4:24 that those who worship must worship in spirit and truth. This is our primary goal as members of the praise team.
The praise team practices every Thursday evening in the Fellowship Hall. The vocalists rehearse from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m, and the band rehearses from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. If you are interested in becoming part of the praise team, please contact Shanna Flaherty or call 337.1527 to set up a meeting.
