Sharing A Meal

Samaritans By Grace

Every Sunday the Samaritans by Grace come together to serve those who are homeless in the community and in our backyard. They make sandwiches in the church kitchen and serve them in Noel Plaza Park which is adjacent to First United Methodist Church. The group meets from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. If you are interested in serving in this ministry, please contact Debbie Douglass.

The Food Pantry

The Food Pantry provides groceries for families and individuals living in poverty. In addition to providing food, their goal is to expand by conducting English As A Second Language courses. The Food Pantry is located across the street from First United Methodist Church at 412 N. Lee, and is open on the second and fourth Mondays of each month from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. If you would like to help sack and distribute food, or if you are interested in helping to establish ESL classes, contact Phil Szenasi.

Student Ministry

Food Bank Volunteers

Students volunteer at the Permian Basin Food Bank. They help sort food and do whatever the food bank needs them to do in order to better feed the hungry of West Texas.  Contact Donnie Williams for dates and times.
