Kids Hope
Kids Hope is our Elementary school mentoring program. We have volunteers that spend one hour a week with a child from Cavazos Elementary School. They mentor that student once a week and help them with homework, play games, and just spend some one on one time with the student. It's amazing how only one hour a week can make such a huge impact in the lives of the children that are in this program. Contact Kris Riley, if you are interested in becoming a mentor.
Volunteers in Mission
United Methodist Volunteers In Mission exists to promote, encourage and enable Christians to exemplify “Christian Love in Action.” Their aim is to achieve the Great Commission through providing short-term mission opportunities for everyday Christians. If you are interested in being trained and going on a VIM trip, please contact Sue Wright.
Student Ministry
Mission Trips
Our students participate in annual mission trip outreach programs to different locations. Students are immersed in the local culture as they serve and help in whatever way the needs of the community can best be met. Contact Donnie Williams for more information about our Summer Mission Trips.

Wacky Window Washers
Children K-6th grade go out into the community for Random Acts of Kindness. They wash car windows for unsuspecting recipients, leaving a card under the wiper blade telling them to have a Great Day! Contact Cindy Lewis to see when the next Wacky Window Washer project is scheduled.
LINKS has a great list of more ways you can get involved in serving Odessa and the community, as well as more information on how to receive some of the services that the community offers.
