STEP 1. I DEDICATE MY BODY
“I urge you to offer yourselves as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God which is your spiritual worship." Romans 12:1
STEP 2. I ELIMINATE COMPETING DISTRACTIONS
In Romans 12:2 it says, "Don't conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind."
STEP 3. I EVALUATE MY STRENGTHS
Romans 12:3 (Phillips translation) "Don't cherish exaggerated ideas of yourself or your importance, but try to have a sane estimate of your capabilities by the light of the faith God has given to you."
STEP 4. I COOPERATE WITH OTHER BELIEVERS
Romans 12:4-5 "Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body and each member belongs to all the others."
STEP 5. I ACTIVATE MY GIFTS
Romans 12:6-8 Paul says, "We have different gifts, according to the grace God has given us: prophesy, serving, teaching, encouraging, contributing, leadership, showing mercy." Those are just some of the spiritual gifts.
