Stephen Ministry
Christ Caring for People Through People
Stephen Ministry equips people to provide distinctively Christian one-to-one care to those who are experiencing all kinds of life needs and circumstances, both in our congregation and community.

Stephen Ministers express God's care through their lives to others; receive 50 hours of initial training in important caring ministry skills and concepts; visit other people regularly and dependably, offer Christian support and care; and remain committed to preserving the confidential nature of the caring relationship.
FUMC Stephen Ministers will begin their serving ministry after we have completed our first round of training. Jody Wallin and Rev. Jeanie Williams attended the Stephen Ministry Leader training in March of 2008 and were commissioned as Stephen Ministry Leaders in April of 2008. The second Stephen Minister group training at our church will begin
October 6, 2009.
For more information or if you are interested in becoming a Stephen Minister please contact Jody Wallin.
