Mark 4:35-41

Many have turned to destructive means in order to feel a sense of worth. But as Christians, we celebrate what it means to be loved in the most extreme ways possible, and are invited to share that with others!

But at Christmas, we remember that it is the coming of the Messiah that, due to no action on our part, that defines this season. Our response then is what we do with that.

It appears that for many, the vision of what God would do in the future was lost on people who became so focused on the things around them, they failed to pay attention to the work God was doing among them.
